# Privacy Policy — klat.app

This Privacy Policy describes how Klat Group LLC ("klat," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website klat.app and our mobile application klat (collectively, the "Services").

## 1. Information We Collect

**Information you provide to us:**
- Account information: name, email address, Apple ID identifier (when you sign in with Apple), or email (when you sign in with email).
- Onboarding answers: communication pattern, relationship status, presence of children — all optional.
- Content you submit: messages, screenshots, and other input you share during a coaching session.

**Information collected automatically:**
- Device information: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone.
- Usage information: features used, sessions started and completed, approximate time spent in the app.
- Diagnostic data: crash logs, performance metrics.

**Information from third parties:**
- Apple in-app purchase status and subscription state (from Apple App Store).

We do **not** collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it (for example, voice mode).

## 2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
- Personalize your experience (for example, adjust prompts based on your onboarding answers).
- Process subscriptions and manage your account.
- Send you service-related notifications (reminders, streaks, weekly summaries — which you can disable in Settings).
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.

We do **not** sell your personal information. We do **not** use the content of your coaching sessions to train third-party models without your consent.

## 3. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:
- **Service providers:** cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications, payment processing, AI model providers — who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- **Legal compliance:** if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of klat, our users, or others.
- **Business transfers:** in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard protections.
- **With your consent:** for any other purpose disclosed to you.

## 4. Data Retention

- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Session content: retained for the duration of your account, unless you delete it sooner.
- Diagnostic and analytics data: retained up to 24 months.

You can delete your account at any time from **Settings → Delete Account**, which will permanently remove your account and associated data.

## 5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Port your data to another service.

klat is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at care@klat.app and we will delete it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

klat is operated by Klat Group LLC, registered in the Kyrgyz Republic. If you access the Services from outside the Kyrgyz Republic, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
